The beach formerly known as Playa Estero Ciego Beach, because it is located in the estuary Ciego Caleticas, is located a little bit further than 5 kilometers Western from Guardalavaca and is characterized by clean warm waters with an intense green. This little paradise is enclosed by cliffs, steep hillsides and a great number of vegetal species which complement the charming spot.
To the beach you can only access if you are a host of some of the three huge resorts built around it and where each year attend many snorkeling and diving lovers, because of the beauty of the different coral formations which are located below the waters of the Playa Esmeralda. Furthermore, the resorts also offer activities such as windsurfing or sailing.
Another of the attractives for the tourism is its access facility, since it is set up just 72 kilometers far from the International Airport of Holguín, Frank País.
