The Granja de las Tortugas (Turtle Farm) and the Experimental Sea Turtle Breeding Centre are located in the archipelago Los Canarreos in Cayo Largo del Sur.

Besides seeing some species in the centre, you can also join a night excursion to some of the beaches of Cayo Largo during the nesting season of this animals. It is a spectacle that many people describe as incredible.
