Its capital is Havana, a very colored city with an enviable culture and architectonic patrimony, and a great nightlife. Stroll along its lively streets and find out the charming corners that make Havana such a special place. Explore this amazing city where you will breathe the passion for the life and the music of its people.

Discover its history through the several museums such as the Museum of the City or the Museum of the Colonial Art, or do it while walking on the streets with the most representative buildings and squares in the capital. Visit the most emblematic places is Havana, including the famous Capitol and the Museum of the Revolution which is located in the former Presidential Palace and will show you several objects related to the Cuban history.

Tour the Old Havana, its historical center, that occupies 4 square kilometers, and absorb the history by means of every single monument and museum inside its limits. The Old Havana is the most interesting area of the antique locality and was declared Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO in 1982. You cannot miss the Plaza de Armas Square, the San Cristobal Cathedral, the San Francisco de Asís Monastery or the Real Fuerza Castle.

Besides the capital, Cuba is a land full of dazzling places where you can choose between urban holidays or a journey totally surrounded by the nature. If what attract you are the holiday resorts and the vibrant cities with more activities than you can make, the biggest cities are Varadero and Santiago the Cuba. These resorts are very lively and count on magnificent hotels and recreational facilities.

In Santiago de Cuba you will find a place where immerse yourself in the Cuban history while discovering the architecture of its fascinating buildings or the joy of its people both during the day and in the vibrant nightlife of the Calle Heredia Street. Visit the most emblematic spots in the city, like the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Cathedral, the Cuartel Moncada Headquarters or the Tivolí Neighborhood. Walk along the streets until finding the famous Escalinata de Padre Pico Staircase or the Casa de la Trova House, so full of life and music when the sun sets.

If you prefer more rustic vacations, outside the most important cities you will much more relax. You can visit the many memorable villages all over Cuba, such as in Mayabeque and Artemisa, from where trips depart to see the natural peaks covered in lush vegetation and surrounded by amazing landscapes. They’re ideal for those who want to spend their vacations in close touch with nature!

You can visit the province of Pinar del Río, well known for having two of the World Heritage sites: part of the Sierra del Rosario and the Península de Guanahacabibes National Park. Explore the Turquino National Park and the Cayerías del Norte of Villa Clara or the Ciénaga de Zapata National park, just to name some of the many.

In the province of Matanzas, you’ll find the Montemar natural park, declared Biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2001, having the largest humid areas of the country. You can also find the town of Varadero, well known for being one of the most common touristic destinations with many water sports to be practices and the chance to take part in one of the best known golf tours at Casa Club Campo de Golf.

Don’t miss visiting the attractions of the National park of Desembarco de Granma declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1999 and having a double importance from the point of view of relief and vegetation, as well as historical, since it was one of the main backdrops of cuban revolution.Holguín also features many amazing places and interesting ecotourism, such as the Cristóbal Colón Natural Park where you can also find the Monumento Bariay park and the Naranjo bay one.

Isla de la Juventud island is another of those unique locations where to find paradise like beaches with turtles laying their eggs in the fine white sand right next to historical spots such as the Presidio Modelo prison, where Fidel Castro was jailed after the attack to Cuartel Moncada headquarters. Walk around downtown Nueva Gerona, capital of the island, and be amazed at the charm of its people and streets.

In Cienfuegos you will find a place where Cuban atmosphere is mixed with the aesthetics of European architecture, where façades remind of classical French 19th century buildings. Also known as Perla del Sur de Cuba (Cuba’s Southern Pearl), Cienfuegos offers a long list of interesting places to visit such as Paseo del Prado, or the Arco del Triunfo Arch, the Catedral de la Purísima Concepción cathedral, Tomás Terry Theatre, San Lorenzo School, among many others.

On the other hand, don’t miss the province of Santic Spíritus where you can find the very place where to visit the first seven villas established in the early 16th century by the Spanish adventurer Diego Velázquez: the one in Sancti Spiritus and the ones in Santísima Trinidad. Also, you can visit the impressive buildings of the Iglesia Parroquial Mayor church, Town Theatre, and the bridge over the Yayabo river.
