Visit the coastal town of Siboney, located around 19 Km to the east of Santiago de Cuba, near Baconao Park.

Visit this charming villa with around 30 private homes and a single hotel, and stroll on its nice streets until reaching to the discreet beach on its coast. The small dimensions of this grey sanded beach will give you the feeling of being at home.

To taste the local cuisine you can visit the restaurant of the village, located over a hill in front of the beach and get relaxed enjoying the views.
There are many attractions in the vicinity of this charming village.
Don’t miss the chance to visit the Granjita Siboney Museum or, in case you are interested about recent history, the Spanish-Cuban-American War Museum.
If you feel attracted to natural spaces, you’ll enjoy quite much of the Great Stone, the Botanic Garden, the Cactus Garden, the Playa Baconao Beach and the crocodiles colony in Baconao Lagoon.
Don’t forget to visit the Baconao Aquarium to enjoy an aquatic show, or the Fiesta Guajira.
To learn about the most ancient history, visit the Natural History Museum and get information about which were the extinct animals in Prehistory, or the Mesoamerican Exhibition to observe the rock art of the island.
When you visit the area, it is quite recommendable to visit the Cafetal La Isabelica Coffee Plantation; more than 200 years of history of Cuban coffee.
If you like artistic activities, you can’t miss the chance to visit the two cultural centers in the area: El Oasis and El Verraco Artistic Community.
