Parque el Cubano is located only 5 km north of the city of Trinidad. It has an extension of about two kilometers along the Rio Guaurabo (River).
It's an enriching route in which both nature and the colonial history are the prominent figures.
It begins with the Huellas de la Historia, a trail, along which we will find some information panels that remind us of what was experienced in this place centuries ago while enjoying a spectacular landscape. And it ends with the Salto de Javira (Javira Waterfall), a waterfall where you can put a beautiful end to your visit to the park by swimming in its crystalline waters.
The different routes in the park are perfectly signposted and at low level of difficulty.
