José Martí Park, listed as a National Monument, is the central park of the region of Cienfuegos, and is located in what used to be the town's main square.

It’s worth noting that it was here where the 1957 uprising against Batista took place.

Inside the park, it’s worth seeing Cienfuegos’ very own Arc de Triomphe, a unique structure(the only of its kind in Cuba), built in honor of country’s independence. Next to it is a marble statue of José Martí himself.
