The Casa del Veguero House is a tobacco plantation in the suburbs of Viñales, on the highway leading to the Mirador de los Jazmines Overlook.

The best time of year for making the most of your visit is between February and May, when you can appreciate the traditional cultivation system and the maturing of the tobacco leaves.

To accommodate the weary traveller, there is a restaurant on the plantation which offers a great amount of creole food for a price ranging between 8-10 CUC.

Close to the restaurant it is possible to buy a limited number of cigars with a discount.
