Quinta de los Molinos is a national monument located in the old gardens of the University of Havana, in the district of Vedado.

his place has a great historical relevance because it was used as the residence of the General Captains during the Colonial period, as well as of Máximo Gómez once the Independence War came to an end. The place also hosted the Botanic Garden of Havana, currently located in Fraternidad Park and the Máximo Gómez Museum.

 

The museum exhibits documents and personal belongings of his short stay in the house.
