The Dance Museum is located in an eclectic mansion in the district of Vedado, Havana.

The museum exhibits a rich collection of objects from Cuban dance history, among which are some personal belongings of the famous former dancer Alicia Alonso.

Its halls show several collections of the wardrobe items, pictures, paintings, engravings of the old Tacón theater, and pieces ranging from 16th century to contemporary.

The museum’s halls are: 19th century Hall, Romantic era and Russian ballet Hall; Alicia Alonso Hall; Modern Hall, Proarte Musical Hall, Baile Folklórico Hall; Dance Hall, and other two halls of theater design and famous designers.
