The Estadio Capitán San Luis Sports (Capitán San Luis Sports Stadium) lies north of Pinar del Río and hosts fascinating baseball games between October and April.

Pinar del Río is known as one of the best baseball teams in Cuba and usually competes for the championship along with the teams from Havana and Santiago. Since its construction in the 1960s, it has witnessed important sports, recreational and cultural events. It was renovated in 2004 and equipped with modern facilities such as a cafeteria, an exhibition hall and an electronic blackboard, among other improvements.

Sports lover can watch the players practice in the afternoons.
